Spring Dine and Vine

On March 24th we hosted our Spring Dine and Vine, the final wine tasting of our 2011-12 season.  Chef Bonsey created an amazing menu, including lobster rollups, basil-tomato-ricotta crostini, a light and flavorful roulade of snapper with spring vegetables, and a fresh berry tart for dessert.  Paired with this delicious menu were the wines of Sterling and B.V. Vineyards.   We sampled a fantastic 2005 Napa Valley Pinot Noir from B.V. , nice and light, it paired really well with the roulade of snapper.  We also tasted an excellent Sterling Chardonnay, and a wonderfully sweet dessert wine from Sterling Vineyards that can only be purchased at the winery!  

As a special guest we had local Author K.D. Mason attend and showcase his Jack Beale mystery series. The latest installment "Dangerous Shoals" features the York Harbor Inn! Our Innkeeper Garry just finished the book and gives it two thumbs up!
